"Self-knowledge is an adventure that carries us unexpectedly far and deep."
C.G. Jung, CW 14
Jungian analysis offers a relationship, grounded in trust, through which one can explore what it means to be true to one’s self. Jungian psychology embraces a reflective, creative, compassionate attitude that honors the soul.
As a Jungian psychoanalyst for over twenty years and a Jungian psychotherapist for over thirty, I have witnessed and have had the privilege to be part of many individual journeys toward greater consciousness and personal growth. The analytic relationship can be a profound experience of connection that effects psychic transformation.
As an analyst in private practice in Arlington Massachusetts I offer individual analysis, usually for one hour a week.
I specialize in working with writing and the creative process. As a writing consultant, I seek to unearth personal complexes that interfere with motivation and accomplishment and to facilitate the process of bringing clarity and a depth of feeling into an individual’s work.
I am on the faculty of the C.G. Jung Institute - Boston. As a training analyst, my roles include case supervisor, thesis advisor, and group process leader.
In my private practice in Arlington Massachusetts, I offer individual analysis, case supervision, writing consultation, select forms of editing, and groups on the practice of writing as a path to individuation. I can be reached at Jdav77@aol.com, or at 781 643 0781. If you email me, please put ‘Jungian analysis’ in the subject line so that I can differentiate your email from spam.
